One Life - A Source of Encouragement to Many

Updated: Jan 22

Dr. Prasanth

Founder & President, CIBC, Andhra Pradesh, India

From early childhood, Dr. Prasanth grew up in Sunday School, learning and meditating on the Word of God. The foundation of Scripture was laid in his life at a very young age.

However, during his youth, he experienced a season where worldly attractions drew his heart away. Though he appeared spiritually upright within the church, his life at that time was marked by outward form rather than inward transformation.

In that phase, a simple statement spoken by a church member deeply pierced his heart:

“When we look at you, it feels like we are seeing an angel of God.”

Those words brought a powerful conviction. They exposed the contrast between appearance and reality and became the turning point of repentance in his life.

That repentance led to true transformation, and transformation led to a clear baptism testimony.

Small Sacrifices Great Preparation

During his student days, instead of using the 3 or 5 rupees given by his parents for bus fare, he chose to save that money for God’s work. Many times, he walked 2–3 kilometers to college, joyfully offering those small savings to the Lord.

Late at night, without anyone’s knowledge, he cleaned church bathrooms, serving quietly, knowing that God alone was watching. This hidden ministry shaped his humility and faithfulness.

Although his home life was comfortable, he intentionally trained himself for future ministry in difficult areas. To discipline his body and avoid attachment to comfort, he often slept without a fan, preparing himself physically and spiritually for sacrificial service.

A Life of Prayer Led by God

In the interior regions of Visakhapatnam, he regularly conducted three-day fasting prayer meetings every year.

During one such season of fasting and prayer, the Lord clearly spoke to him through His Word, giving divine direction regarding his calling and future ministry.

Victory in Temptation A Living Testimony

Just as Joseph faced severe temptation from Potiphar’s wife, Dr. Prasanth also encountered a powerful trial in his life. By God’s abundant grace, he escaped the snare of sin and stood firm. This victory became a strong testimony of God’s protecting hand over his life.

From Faithfulness to Vision

He was later appointed as a Director at a Bible College established in Chennai by an organization from South Korea.

His faithfulness in that role became the foundation for a God-given vision, to establish a Bible College of his own.

Complete Surrender to God

Believing that marriage might limit the freedom required for full-time ministry, he willingly chose to remain unmarried. With a clear conscience and unwavering commitment, he dedicated his entire life exclusively to the service of the Lord.

Faith That Rejected Worldly Offers

Many temptations came his way, offers of financial support, opportunities for foreign marriage, even offers involving bank cards and material security.

Yet, discerning that these were against God’s will for his calling, he firmly rejected them all.

Not Earthly Gain, but the Kingdom of God

By teaching the Korean language, he reached a level where he could easily build a house for himself. However, instead of prioritizing personal comfort, he chose to construct a large Bible College.

Within the vast campus, he built only a small room—just enough space for a single bed—for himself. Everything else was dedicated to the needs of the Bible College and the training of God’s servants.

Multilingual Gospel Reaching All

Today, he proclaims the Gospel in Telugu, English, Hindi, Tamil, and Korean.

Crossing language and cultural barriers, he continues to spread the love of God to countless lives.

God’s Plans and Our Responsibility

The plans belong to God.

Our responsibility is to align ourselves with those plans.

When we live with repentance, preparation, humility, surrender, and reverent fear of God, He transforms our lives into a source of encouragement for many.

God had the plan for Noah, but Noah found favor and embraced that divine plan.

If you are ready,

God will use you.

2 Timothy 2:21

“If anyone cleanses himself… he will be an instrument for noble purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.”
